The second generation BMW ALPINA B7 is about to raise the standard of "high-performance" sedan. After debuting in California during August of 2011, the updated 2013 BMW ALPINA B7 will shock even the most discerning speed addicts. The new models with feature a 540 hp engine with 538 lb.-ft. of torque.
Performance isn't the only area in which the ALPINA B7 raises the bench, either. Beyond more ponies of power and lb.-ft. of torque, and the resultant boost in top speed (now, 194 miles per hour - max), the aggressive sedan gains thirty new parts for the 2013 model year.
Some additions help to improve aerodynamics. Others channel air to help keep the engine cool. Still others enhance safety (i.e., LED front fog lights). And, of course there are some designed to elevate in-car entertainment (i.e. Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound).
It's a looker, too. New exterior and interior color choices match those found across the 7 Series lineup. At the same time, it retains its unmistakable edge: 21 inch ALPINA Classic 20-spoke wheels and breathtaking ALPINA Blue Metallic paint.
