As a BMW dealer serving Rock Hill and Greensboro, our profession covers an array of automotive topics. One of which is keeping the drivers of our surrounding communities, and luxury enthusiasts in general, abreast of the news that pertains to our mutually preferred Bavarian brand.
To that end, today we would like to discuss some news regarding the German automaker's worldwide production. Namely, the BMW Group very recently held an official ceremony to mark the construction of the brand's first-ever facility in South America.
More specifically, said facility will be located in the Santa Catarina state of Brazil. Slated to begin producing select new BMW models and one under the automaker's MINI nameplate as well, the plant will be able to assemble up to 30,000 units every year.
Naturally, that's once the Brazilian-based facility is fully constructed. Expected to open in the autumn of next year, at that time the plant will begin assembling the BMW 1 Series, 3-Series, X1 and X3 models.
Of course, we at Hendrick BMW Northlake would like to kindly remind you that you need not wait for the South American plant to begin production to obtain any of the aforementioned models. In fact, to arrange a test drive in your preferred luxury car, we welcome you to visit our showroom in nearby Charlotte, NC, anytime.
By the same token, if you're simply looking to schedule a routine maintenance appointment for your current BMW, our team is available to help. To arrange said visit, we welcome you to stop by our auto service center at your earliest convenience.
