Drivers all around the world were stoked to meet the latest 7 Series, but performance enthusiasts held out. What they wanted was something more in the vein of an M7 (BMW's performance marque). While the 2017 Alpina B7 xDrive is not an M7 in name, it's more than that in spirit.
The Alpina edition boasts the same technological advances of the new top shelf sedan, including remote park, and the CarbonCore body structure. Beyond that, Alpina has worked their magic on the 4.4-liter twin-turbo holding court under the hood. With an output of 600 horsepower, 590 lb-ft of twist, and power delivered to all four wheels, competing models best watch their tailpipes.
