At the Detroit Auto Show this week, we saw a lot of really great new ideas, concepts, and upgrades. But, something stood out from the rest.

Something that will likely revolutionize luxury sports cars in Charlotte: the 2016 BMW M2.

With a standard 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, good for 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque, with a sprint-time of 0 to 60 in as little as 4.2 seconds when paired with the available automatic transmission. However, for sport purists, the standard manual transmission can still get the job done in a tidy 4.2 seconds.

Another perk? The new BMW M2 is pretty easy on the eyes.

The 2016 BMW M2 is set to go on sale at Hendrick BMW Northlake in the spring. If you want to know more about the new model, or about how you could get your hands on one when it arrives, feel free to contact us.
