It looks like the holidays are here again, and that means that you are going to be taking part in that annual tradition of sitting in traffic trying to get to your travel destination. Have an emergency plan in place just in case your vehicle breaks down. This means having plenty of tools on board and things like a gas can, engine coolant, jug of water, duct tape, and several flashlights. Make sure you map out your route, and take time today to plan on going around all those trouble spots along your route. For example, instead of sitting in traffic near the airport, look for travel routes that bypass that area. The worst time to be traveling is the day before the holiday. Knowing that, it would be best to get moving two days in advance.
