When drivers get to know their new BMW vehicles, they typically begin to form a close relationship with them. After all, it's not hard to become infatuated with the reliability BMW has to offer. One German BMW owner in particular has formed quite the relationship with the automaker, as he has collected one of the world's largest collections of 3 Series models over the years.

Daniel Falkenberg proudly owns 10 models from the 3 Series, which cover a majority of its history since he has almost one of every model. They are all kept in his backyard barn in pristine condition. Falkenberg's obsession with BMW began when he was about 10, and it has continued to rapidly grow since then. He even considers the collection to be his "second family."

Looking back to where his passion began, Falfenberg recounted his story. At the young age of 17, he made his dream come true to own one of the models by purchasing his very first 3 Series to have just in time to drive on his 18th birthday, a BMW 325e. He then went on to continuing acquiring models like the BMW 328i xDrive Gran Turismo to add to his growing collection, with each model having a story to tell.

Falkenberg went on to explain the inspiration for his hobby, stating, "What I really like a lot about the 3 Series is the variety, the wonderfully simple elegance, and the beautiful lines. What connects the different models of the 3 Series is that all of them used to be driver-oriented cars where driving pleasure and sportiness were always the dominating characteristics."1
